[ Shangmeng Science and Technology Research and Development Center] News, the engineers of the R&D center of the company and the research team of Kunming University of Science and Technology have successfully developed porous super-slip polymerization using the research basis of the pre-perforated porous polytetrafluoroethylene superhydrophobic film. Tetrafluoroethylene film, which has simple preparation technology, high durability, strong oil storage capacity and long service life, and is expected to be used for future aircraft wing anti-icing, power cable and insulator anti-icing and others. Treatment of antifouling surfaces. Has a good application prospect

[Introduction to ultra-slip surface] The ultra-slip surface is a surface that has strong sliding properties against liquids such as water and oil. The sliding angle is generally within 5 degrees, and it is generally difficult for a liquid solid to exist stably on its surface. The earliest English expression of the super-slip surface is. Slippery Liquid Infused Porous Surface (SLIPS). The most typical of nature is the pitcher plant (see picture). This kind of superficial phenomenon has gained wide interest since it was reported by scientists at Harvard University in 2011, but it has the disadvantages of complicated preparation methods and low durability. The preliminary results of Shangmeng Technology have greatly advanced into the practical aspects. Patents on technology are beginning to be prepared.

The scientists were inspired by the leaves of a carnivorous plant called Nepenthes, which had almost no friction. It attracts insects through bright colors and mellow nectar. When the insects stop on the leaves, they slip into the air, so they serve the plate for this carnivorous plant.

By replicating the molecular structure of this leaf, the scientist developed a similar superslip material that almost repels all liquids. Even liquids with super-adsorption capacity such as blood and oil can do nothing. Moreover, when the surface of the material is damaged, it will quickly repair itself without affecting its ability to slip.

In order to test whether this material can be applied to nature, the researchers placed the ants on the surface of the material. As a result, like the pitcher plant, the ants could not stand on the surface of the material.
